Pediatric gastroenterologist Dr. Alessio Fasano is head of the Mucosal Immunology and Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Brigham (MGB); professor of nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health; and professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He is director of the Center for Celiac Research and Treatment at MGB, and is widely sought after as an expert in gut microbiome, intestinal permeability, and autoimmune disorders including celiac disease.
